All wells will be drilled with the
generation of waste , the waste contains different type like drill cuttings ,
waste water , drilling fluids without used and completion fluids . The treatment on waste will be
depending on the drilling fluids type. There are different ways to treat
drilling waste like reduce , reuse , recycle and recover .

Recycle of drilling cuttings is
what GN Solids Control supply , there will be two sets screw conveyor to pick
up drilling cuttings from shale shakers and feed to vertical
cuttings dryer for treatment , then the vertical cuttings dryer will process
drilling cuttings with water or oil content below five percent , the dry
drilling cuttings will be deliveried away for further treatment and fluids
content will be delivery to a small holding tank , there will be a small pump
to pick up recycled drilling fluids and feed to a high speed decanter
centrifuge , the dry solids from centrifuge will be delivery away and clean
fluid can be drop to the clean tank in solids control system .

The vertical cuttings dryer was
used mainly for oil base mud drilling cuttings but the GN new improvement make
it working for water base mud drilling cuttings also . GN Solids ‘s vertical
cuttings dryer is 900 RPM with G force up to 420 G , the super high speed is available
at 1200 PRM with G force up to 750 G for a better separation ability . The
flights on the rotor is hard facing to HRC 65 , longer life than our comptitors
. The individual oil lubrication system with automatic alarm for pressure limit
. The main motor and oil pump motor is interlocked with each other for avoiding
the start of the main motor prior to the start of the oil pump motor .

Closed Loop Drilling Mud Solids Control System Minimize the Waste on Drilling Liquids

nowadays the drilling liquids is broadlyutilized in drilling projects and underneath the strict regulation on atmosphere protection, the ways to minimize the release of environment hazardous waste solids and maximum the drilling liquids recovery must be the mainstream subject in the industry.

Higher Environment Standard for Oil & Gas Waste Management

Although the price for crude oil is dropping form an extremely high place to anunexpected low place, the global demand for the oil never ceases. But as longas the drilling projects are done everywhere in the world, the environment
effects are shown more and more clearly.

Now more and more countries are issuing
laws and regulations for protecting the environment. Before, in some places,
after drilling, the drilling cuttings could be buried in a remote place, but

The complete waste management system for
OBM could also be regarded as 2 sections, the standard one and further one. The
standard waste management system for OBM is combined by a vertical cuttings
dryer and a high speed centrifuge.  After first stage, the further stage is to
make the cuttings more compact and into solid before discharge.
