In the three-phase decanter centrifuge, the main motor drives the drum to rotate at full speed and the material is continuously introduced into the spiral by the feed tube and evenly distributed to the spiral discharge port. Under the action of centrifugal force, the solid phase settles to the wall of the drum and is pushed out by the spiral pusher towards the slag outlet of the conical drum, while the liquid phase flows out along the spiral towards the overflow hole at the large end of the drum, forming a small end for the solid phase and a large end for the liquid phase. The solid particles are separated from the liquid in the mixture, or the two mixtures with different specific gravity and insoluble in each other are separated.

The 3 phase Oil Decanter Centrifuge can clarify, separate and dehydrate materials of 0.002-3mm or classify solid phase particles of 1um-5um. In this order, GN 2-phase decanter centrifuge is solid-liquid separation equipment that separates solid-liquid mixtures through high-speed rotation. 454 model decanter centrifuge with a bowl L/D ratio of 4.2 and Bowl Diameter is 450mm, and the max G force is 3087G, Typical Bowl Speed is 0-3200RPM, It adopts the electrical dual-motor driving system. The main motor is driving the bowl and the back motor is driving the screw via pulley device. This model is equipped with a VFD control cabinet.

Recently GN completed a 2-phase GNLW454 Decanter Centrifuge for mustard oil Separation, it will be sent to our oversea clients. It is C series decanter centrifuge with beach angle of 20 degree, and it designed for the continuous separation of suspensions into solids and charified liquid, without interrupting the feed of the suspension.

The 2-phase GNLW454  decanter centrifuge is driven by two motors. The two motors are arranged on the same side of the equipment, with the bowl dismeter is 450mm, and bowl length is 1890mm, so bowl L/D Ration is 4.2 , which can make the material in the drum with a longer time,  in order to make the slag more dryer and the liquid more clarification.

In the VFD control panel, GN equipped 3 converters for main motor, back motor and feeding pump, operator can set up the running parameters on the HMI touch screen to control the feeding flow and running condition of the decanter.
