Recently, GN has completed the fabrication of 5M3 oil sludge system. Following the final factory assembly and testing, the system is ready to ship to the overseas customers.
This oil sludge system designed by GN company. It’s a primary objective in order to reduce the hydrocarbon content in oil sludge through a combination of dilution, thermal washing and chemical treatment.
This treatment process begins with the pre-mixing and hot- washing module, where sludge is diluted, demulsified and heated.
Following pre-mixing, the sludge passed through the screening separation module, where large particles are removed, and fine particles will go to the decanter centrifuge.
Following the shale shaker, the sludge is usually processed through a decanter centrifuge, which further separates solids and liquids using high-speed rotation.
Chemical Mixing System: Chemicals may be added to enhance the separation process, breaking down the emulsions and aiding in the removal of contaminants.
Thermal Treatment Unit: In some systems, there might be a provision for thermal treatment, where the sludge is heated to separate oil, water, and solids through evaporation and condensation.
Solids Drying Unit: The separated solids may undergo further drying to reduce moisture content, making them easier to dispose of or recycle.
Centrifugal Pump: These are used for transferring fluids within the system, such as moving sludge from one stage to another.
Control System: An automated control system manages the entire process, regulating parameters like flow rates, temperatures, and chemical dosages for optimal performance.
