GN Company Supplied Decanter Centrifuge for European Client

Recently client from Europe ordered one unit of Decanter Centrifuge for olive oil processing, with capacity about 10 m3 per hour.

GN Company has been a professional manufacturer of Decanter Centrifuge for about 10 years, with capabilities to manufacture Decanter Centrifuge with bowl diameter from 220mm to 760mm, and capacity from 1~2 m3 per hour to 120 m3 per hour.

When the clients come to GN for new projects, the Engineers always suggest the clients to answer a professional questionnaire, in order to find out the best model for clients’ project.

The questionnaire mainly includes questions as follow.
1. What is the main purpose of separation, and capacity requirement? For example, solids dewatering, solid-liquid separation, or solid-liquid-liquid separation. GN Engineers need to consider 2-phsae or 3-phase Decanter/Separator for clients’ projects.
2. What is the make-up of feeding inlet? What is the liquid phase and solids phase, and where are they from?
3. What is solid content percentage in the feeding inlet? It’s better to calculate the percentage by volume, instead of weight. Solids content plus capacity requirement can help engineers to find out the exact model. GN Company now is capable to manufacture 760mm bowl diameter decanter, with capacity 100~120 m3 per hour.
4. What is the solid particle in the feeding inlet? Engineers shall consider if it is necessary to add pre-treatment equipment, which can remove coarse particles. For example, 10mm particles.
5. What is the client requirement after treatment by Decanter Centrifuge? Some clients need the outlet cake to be as dry as possible, some clients need the outlet liquid to be clean, and some other clients choose between them.

There are some other details, which shall be put high attention on, for example, if the Decanter shall be explosion proof or not, if the feeding inlet has high corrosive (for example, high content of chloride), etc.

GN Company Supplied Decanter Centrifuge for European Client

GN Company has been a professional manufacturer of Decanter Centrifuge for about 10 years, with capabilities to manufacturer Decanter with bowl diameter from 220mm~760mm, and treatment capacity from 1 m3 per hour to 120 m3 per hour.

Besides 2-phase Decanter Centrifuge, GN Company is also capable to manufacture 3-phase Decanter Centrifuge, which is used for solid-liquid-liquid separation. 3-phase Decanter Centrifuge has two rotors, including drum and screw. When the drum and screw rotate at high speed, there would create centrifugal force, which is many times bigger than gravity. So the particles would be separated from the liquid, and settle on the inner wall of the drum. Because the screw rotates at slower speed than drum, therefore the solids would be pushed out from the slag outlet. The liquid would form two separate layers, because of the difference of density. The heavy phase layer would drawn against the wall of drum by the centripetal pump, and would be discharged from heavy-phase outlet. The light phase layer is close to the spiral end, and discharged by overflow. The whole process is continuous and highly automatic.

The material touch part of GN 3-phase Decanter Centrifuge is made of high grade duplex stainless steel, which is much better than SS 316 in strength and corrosion resistance. The Solids Discharge Port is protected by Tungsten Carbide Insert. The bearings are from international reputable brand, and clients can find spare parts easily from local market.

GN Solids Vacuum Pump Shipped to Mining Service Company

GN Company received orders from mining service company for GN Solids Vacuum Pump, which would be used to clean powder and water mixture during the process of ore mining. Before the job is done by manual, and now GN Solids Vacuum Pump solves the problem, and transfer the mixture automatically.

GN Vacuum Pump is 100% air driven vacuum pump, and there is no cost of electricity or diesel by itself. There are not rotating parts in the internal part of pump body, so it is much less maintenance and the pump can work in dangerous environment, which need the machine to be explosion proof. The pump shall be connected with Air Compressor, and GN Company focus on manufacturing and supplying Pump only, and suggest clients to find air compressor from local market. GN Engineers would send required air pressure and air amount for clients.

The vacuum is created by venture, and when air is supplied to the pump, it would create strong vacuum/negative pressure, and the sludge would be sucked into the pump body. The air is still there, and with the valves open and close, the sludge would be blow out. The pump works continuously in the circle of suction and discharge.

GN Company Technical Team Develops Basket Centrifuge for Market

With continuous effort on research and development, the Technical Team in GN Company has successfully developed Basket Centrifuge. There are two types of Basket Centrifuge, including Filter-type Basket Centrifuge and Sedimentation-type Basket Centrifuge.

Filter-type Basket Centrifuge is a filter centrifuge, and the machine needs manual loading and unloading. It is used for material with solid particles bigger than 0.01. The machine can be used for dewatering of textiles, metal cutting iron filings and lubricating oil recovery. This model of Centrifuge has obvious advantages of simple structure, convenient operation and wide application.

The filtration time can be adjusted based on feeding inlet material’s characteristics, and also clients’ requirement for result. The residue can be flushed and clean, and the solid phase particles are keeping well in form. This kind of Centrifuge is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food, etc.

Sedimentation-type Centrifuge is used to clarify suspension with medium and fine particles. According to the difference of feeding, there are three types, including Continuous Feeding, Intermittent feeding, and Once-Feeding. This kind of Centrifuge can be widely used in chemical, light industry, pharmaceutical, food, textile, machinery, etc.

GN Company now is capable to manufacture Basket Centrifuge with bowl diameter from 300mm to 1500mm, and loading capacity 10kg~550kg.
