Since its beginnings, GN has designed, developed and produced different kinds of centrifuges for  solid/liquid and liquid/liquid separation.

GN clarifying decanter centrifuge is C series decanter centrifuge with beach angle of 20 degree. It suits for material of small particle size, low density difference between solids and liquid, moderate viscosity, moderate concentration.

2023.09.01 Decanter Centrifuge

The beach angle of the C series clarifying decanter centrifuge is 20 degree, so the bowl cone section is short, and the straight section of the bowl is longer, it will give the bowl to have a longer clarifying section.

 

The rotating part of these decanter tricanter centrifuges is mounted on a compact, in-line frame, with main bearings at both ends. Vibration dampers are placed under the frame. The rotating part is enclosed in a casing with a cover and a bottom section with integrated outlets for both solids and the liquid being removed.

In the three-phase Oil Decanter Centrifuge, the main motor drives the drum to rotate at full speed and the material is continuously introduced into the spiral by the feed tube and evenly distributed to the spiral discharge port. Under the action of centrifugal force, the solid phase settles to the wall of the drum and is pushed out by the spiral pusher towards the slag outlet of the conical drum, So the centrifugal force is becoming less from outside to inside according to the magnitude of centrifugal force. A concentric solid layer and two liquid layers are formed. Solids are pushed out by the screw conveyor, and liquids are removed from their respective nozzles. Therefore, the application of three-phase decanter centrifuge can not only separate the solid in the material, but also separate the two-phase liquid with different specific gravity in the material, that is, Solid-liquid-liquid separation can be achieved.
